01. Ship
大家看到ship就会想到船，但这个ship在外国人眼里可不是友谊的小船，而是爱情的小船哦。
ship是从relationship简化而来的，用作名词有点像两个人之间的暧昧和火花。如果用作动词，它指的是撮合（to endorse a romantic relationship）。如果你想撮合你的朋友，可以说，I want to ship them。

02. Slay

03. Straight Fire
直直的火？“fire”原本就有流行的意思，而“straight”在这里起一个强调作用，两个词语连在一起其实就是我们中文“火了”的意思。
It may be related to the phrase “spitting fire”, which means rapping quickly and very well. “Straight fire” is a compound of “straight”, meaning very or authentically, and “fire”, a metaphor for something being hot or really good.

04. Salty
这个词也是在游戏玩家中非常流行的，Being salty is when you are upset over something little，形容一个人输不起。那为什么会用盐来代表呢？这和眼泪有很大的关系，输不起的人往往玩游戏输了会气到哭，所以salty的新用法就诞生啦～

05. Chilllax
Chilllax这个词是“chill out”和“relax”的结合体，常常用来安慰别人，用法和“Chill out”是一样的。

06. Squad
Squad原来指的是一群朋友（homies），后来在网络上渐渐用来形容一个特定人群，比如某某某的粉丝群、反恐团体等等，DC著名的电影《自杀小队》（Suicide Squad）用的也是这个词。
An informal group of individuals with a common identity and a sense of solidarity. The term is a bit flashy and is more likely to be heard in hip-hop lyrics than in spoken conversation.

07. Bye Felicia
Felicia最早出自一部1995年的美国电影《Friday》，不过直到2008年，一位网友才在Urban Dictionary上发布了这个词条。
现在这个词被当作是an expression used to dismiss someone（This person is usually irrelevant and annoying），用来狠狠地拒绝别人，也就是对对方说NO！
值得一提的是，“Bye, Felicia”虽然用了女性名字，但也可以对男性说。网友还发明了这句话的男版：Bye, Felipe.

“我可以跟你借1美元吗？我保证一定会还给你！”
“Bye Felicia”

08. GOAT
大家千万不要被这张配图骗了，GOAT在这里可不是山羊的意思，而是Greatest Of All Time的缩写，可以理解为“史上最佳”！

这个词看起来好像某个英语考试的等级，不过也不能说它和考试毫无关系。ELI5的真正意思是Explain Like I‘m 5，当你想让别人explain something in the simplest way possible，用这个词准没错！

10. Cd9
可千万不要随便和你的外国朋友说这个词，你会发现他很长时间都不跟你说话了，因为这个词的意思是code9，意味着：parents are around!
If your parent are around and you don’t want them to see or know what you are texting, or putting on a website like fb, you send cd9 to alert them not to say or put anything that could get you into trouble!
