Fool可以做名词和动词：
- You are a fool: 你是个傻瓜
- You were fooled: 你被愚弄了
- To make a fool of someone: 让人出丑、愚弄别人
英语有句俗语：
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
骗我一次，是你不对；上当两次，是我不对。就是吃一堑、长一智的意思。
但是如果被骗第三次：
But fool me three times, it must be April Fool‘s Day.
上三次当，原来今天是愚人节。
美国人管愚人节April Fools‘ Day, 英国人也有另一个叫法：All Fools‘ Day.

如果你的prank成功了，英语可以说
Gotcha: 从”got you”演变而来的口语，意思是“捉弄到你了”
除了Gotcha, 也可以说”April fool”: “你这个大傻瓜”。不过愚人节，“gotcha”更常用、更地道！

BBC经典的April Fools prank. 当时他们在晚间新闻里播出这条新闻，说科学家成功研制了一种‘spaghetti tree‘。树上能长出一根根的意面。结果很多人打电话到BBC询问哪里可以买到树的种子。

Taco Bell（塔可钟）是百事集团旗下著名的墨西哥菜连锁餐厅，曾经来过中国，后来黯然退出。而Liberty Bell又叫“自由钟”，在美国费城的国家历史公园里。它是美国独立战争的重要标志，为美国国宝。Anyways, 96年Taco Bell宣布为了帮助政府减轻债务，它们花重金购买Liberty Bell。购买款项全数捐给联邦政府。很多美国老百姓信以为真，打电话给立法委员、政府部门投诉，骂政府怎么能为区区小利就把国家财产变卖给企业。
